What are the two most talked about subjects in Amateur Radio–Antennas and propagation, of course.  Bill Mader, K8TE, will provide some insight into HF Propagation at our meeting Saturday.  He’ll dispel some of the hype that floats about along with some of the misinformation to better help us understand how the ionosphere impacts HF operations.  He’ll also point us toward good sources of information on how to use all the data readily available to us to pick the right bands for our skeds, chasing DX, or just when to be on the air.  Bill will also provide hints on dispelling the hype and myths so we can become more knowledgeable and helpful mentors on this most discussed and so poorly understood topic.
